Structural Engineer

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Clients team in Arendal, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced structural analyses and contributing to the design of robust offshore structures operating in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural analysis and calculations: Perform strength, fatigue, and buckling analyses in accordance with recognized offshore standards using FEM software and hand calculations.
• Technical documentation: Prepare high-quality analysis reports for approval by customers and classification societies.
• Design development: Actively participate in design discussions and contribute to the development of safe, efficient, and fabrication-friendly solutions.
• Quality assurance: Conduct internal checks and reviews of design and analysis documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Cross-disciplinary collaboration: Work closely with design, marine, mechanical, and piping disciplines to ensure integrated solutions.
• External coordination: Communicate with customers and classification societies to ensure all technical and regulatory requirements are met.
