Material Officer, Leonardo UK Ltd - NUF (Norway Branch)
Leonardo UK Ltd. has a contract with the Ministry of Justice and Public Security for the delivery of new search‑ and‑rescue helicopters (AW101), along with associated operational and maintenance support for the Royal Norwegian Air Force. Leonardo has an organization in Norway (LUKL Norway Branch) for the in-country activities. To join a highly skilled and multi-disciplined organization, we are now seeking a Material Officer.
About the Role
Leonardo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Material Officer to join the NAWSARH in-country liaison team at the operating location at Sola. This role is central to supporting the Joint Aircraft Availability Management Office (JAAMO) in the coordination and delivery of Integrated Logistics Support under the Contract. As the Material Officer, you will oversee material and supply operations, ensure availability of required components and tooling, support base maintenance activities, and act as a key link between Leonardo and the Royal Norwegian Air Force.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Material Officer for all material deliverables.
- Coordinate material, tooling, and POL requirements to support aircraft maintenance activities.
- Process material demands and transactions using the Company ERP System (SAP), ensuring data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) standards, including Dangerous Goods Regulations.
- Perform stock checks, receive and process deliveries and unserviceable items.
- Liaise effectively with customer and internal departments to ensure smooth operation and information flow.
- Participate in safety and base audits, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain flexibility to support other locations in Norway on short notice, including extended deployments and irregular working patterns.

Krav
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in material management or supply chain logistics.
- Proven ability to manage inventory and coordinate logistical operations in a demanding environment.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Must hold a valid forklift license.
- Must be eligible to live and work in Norway and hold full Norwegian Security Clearance.
