The Life Cycle business segment takes care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production, Life Cycle ensure safe operations. We focus on optimizing field life solutions, driven by decarbonization and environmentally sound offerings.

Join our growing Instrument team in Stavanger. We are strengthening our Instrument organization and are looking for more Senior Instrument Engineers who can contribute with broad technical competence, project execution experience and mentorship of younger engineers.

You will become part of a cluster-based engineering organization where flexibility, multidisciplinary collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are key success factors.

What will you be doing?

• Deliver instrument engineering in modification and maintenance projects.
• Lead technical activities within your area of expertise.
• Support projects through all phases of execution.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Contribute to standardization and knowledge sharing across the Instrument cluster.
• Drive simplification, digitalization and improved engineering practices.
• Support implementation of new engineering methods, automation and AI-enabled work processes.

Typical tasks may include, but not limited to:

• Instrument system design.
• Automation and control engineering.
• Fire & Gas systems engineering.
• Supplier follow-up and technical evaluations.
• Design reviews and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Development of installation documentation and work packages.
• Client interface and offshore support.
