Nitrogen/Helium Test Lead

Techconsult is looking for a Nitrogen/Helium Test Lead for one of our customers. The N2He Test Lead is part of a team responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of Nitrogen/Helium (N2He) leak testing activities for designated piping systems, equipment, and packages related to the delivery and integration of the client's processing platform.

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and timely planning and execution of N2He leak testing in accordance with Project Completion Strategy, NORSOK standards, and applicable commissioning procedures.
• Accountable for the quality and integrity of N2He test results, documentation, and handover of tested systems.
• Develop, review, and implement N2He test procedures and test packs.
• Define test boundaries, including temporary blinds, spectacle blinds, and isolation requirements.
• Ensure all test equipment is calibrated, certified, and available prior to test execution.
• Coordinate and supervise N2He testing crews, including third-party test contractors and technicians.
• Conduct pre-test safety briefings (toolbox talks) and ensure JSA/SJA are completed.
• Manage and document all test results, test records, and punch items in PIMS.
• Ensure safe depressurization, purging, and restoration of systems following completed tests.
