As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for an Engineer - Piping - Work Package for an exciting project at Stord.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Preparing and maintaining piping work packages for prefabrication and installation, including pipe and pipe support scope
• Ensuring building methods are correctly implemented in work packages
• Structuring and defining work packages in MIPS according to project plans
• Preparing job estimates and verifying project norms
• Coordinating with planning, construction and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution
• Updating work packages with changes and tracking progress in MIPS
• Verifying interfaces with EIT, production and planning
• Supporting continuous improvement and experience transfer
