Ocean Installer is a global marine construction company delivering large complex projects in challenging environments. We are looking for an International Tax Advisor to join our team.
Tax Advisory & Planning
- Provide tax guidance to support internationalisation of the business.
- Work with Business Development and Legal teams to support comparing and creating tax efficient contracting structures.
- Provide support to Legal for Ocean Installer local entity set up or closing.
- Work closely with the Tender Team to price tax inclusive proposals.
- Support tax planning initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of local/international tenders, tax returns and filings.
- Monitor compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with external Legal/Tax Advisors.
Financial & Operational Support
- Collaborate with finance and project teams to ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes relating to tax provisions.
Risk Management
- Identify and assess tax risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support audits and enquiries from the tax authorities both locally and internationally.
Krav
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field is required.
- Extensive experience in tax advisory, accounting, or corporate tax functions within complex, international environments is necessary.
- A professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, or Chartered Tax Adviser is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of domestic and international tax rules, with exposure to cross-border tax matters, is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret tax rules and financial data are required.
