Principal Architect, SaaS Platform & AI

The role

We’re hiring a Principal Architect, SaaS Platform & AI to shape the next generation of our platform and AI capabilities. This is a senior, strategic and hands-on role at the intersection of software architecture, AI architecture and product strategy.

What you’ll do

• Own the platform architecture: define and evolve LCA.no’s SaaS architecture with a focus on scalability, reliability, security and product velocity.
• Drive AI architecture and use cases: design how AI capabilities are prototyped, integrated and governed across the platform and identify high-value opportunities across customer workflows.
• Strengthen API and data architecture: support LCA.no’s create/share API strategy, integrations roadmap and data architecture as the platform scales.
• Establish principles and standards: set architecture standards, development practices and technical governance.

What you bring

• Significant experience as a software architect, principal engineer, solution architect or senior technology lead.
• Strong background in SaaS architecture, cloud-based platforms and modern software development.
• Hands-on coding experience and the ability to prototype, evaluate technical approaches and guide implementation.
• Practical experience with AI, LLMs, automation or AI-enabled product development.
• Experience working with external development teams or distributed engineering setups.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
