Stillingsbeskrivelse

Lokotech Group is a small group with grand visions. The group is operating in the cross section of three verticals; hardware within the cryptocurrency and edge AI applications, cryptocurrency mining related services, and we have a real estate division developing data centers to support the groups products and services. The group is transitioning from a R&D-heavy start-up mode into a scale up, based on our novel ASIC technology.

About the position

Lokotech Group AS is looking for a hands-on hardware engineer to support development across our hardware portfolio, including power distribution units (SPDU series) and ASIC platforms. You'll work on everything from PCB layout and FPGA firmware to mechanical packaging and CAD design. This is a generalist hardware role for someone who can move fluidly between electrical design, embedded firmware, and mechanical integration. We're a small, fast-moving team. You'll get a structured onboarding/training period, but we're looking for someone who, once ramped up, takes ownership of problems without needing close supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PCBs (schematic capture, layout, BOM management) for power electronics and control boards, including high-current/mains-isolated designs.
  • Develop and debug FPGA logic and embedded firmware.
  • Design mechanical enclosures and component mounting using CAD, with attention to thermal, EMI, and serviceability constraints.
  • Collaborate with external certification partners and contract manufacturers.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues across the stack, from signal integrity to firmware to mechanical fit.
  • Document designs clearly enough for handoff, manufacturing, and future iteration.

Krav

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
  • Solid experience with PCB design tools like Altium or KiCad with a track record of shipped boards.
  • FPGA development experience using Verilog or VHDL.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical CAD software such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
  • Self-directed and resourceful with the ability to identify and solve problems independently.
  • Fluent in English with good written communication skills for documentation.
