As a Front Line Support Engineer, you will provide continuous technical and engineering support to ongoing offshore operations and time-critical workshop activities. The role is central to live operational support, enabling high-quality decision-making and multidisciplinary engineering responses across drilling and well operations.
This position focuses on operational execution and hands-on technical problem solving, supporting offshore crews and operations in real time rather than project administration. You will work in a high-responsibility environment where your input directly contributes to safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 technical and engineering support to ongoing offshore operations on a rotational basis.
- Act as a multidisciplinary engineering resource supporting drilling, hydraulics, automation, and electrical systems.
- Communicate directly with offshore crews during live operations to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Handle technical escalations and problem-solving in high-critical operational situations.
- Contribute to procedures, risk assessments, contingency planning, and method statements.
Krav
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Automation, Cybernetics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Control Systems and/or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience from offshore operational environments and drilling rigs.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work on a rotational basis providing 24/7 support.
