Lead Engineer Electrical & Power Management

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Lead Engineer Electrical & Power Management (Global) to strengthen our Technology and Reliability team.

Role Summary

As Lead Engineer Electrical & Power Management, you will ensure Enhanced Drilling's electrical and power systems are safe, reliable, compliant, and highly available throughout their lifecycle. You will define robust protection philosophies, drive standardization across electrical architectures, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

• Operability: Define requirements for safe and predictable electrical operation, including alarms and safe states.
• Availability: Define health and performance monitoring requirements for critical electrical assets.
• Robustness and System Integrity: Define protection philosophies, redundancy strategies, and grounding/earthing principles.
• Standardization: Establish and maintain standards for electrical architecture, documentation, and component selection (UPS, VFDs, transformers, etc.).
• Maintenance and Lifecycle Management: Define maintenance philosophies, including preventive and condition-based maintenance requirements.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to international electrical standards and regulations (ABS, DNV, ATEX, IECEx).
• Development and Continuous Improvement: Lead root cause analyses (RCAs) and drive development activities to meet future functional requirements.
