Kongsberg Discovery is seeking one Export Control Officer to be a part of a centralized team of experts, care-taking our license to operate. This role is an exciting opportunity for a company that is growing rapidly. This role is highly operational and requires daily interaction with sales, business development, and project teams.

What you will be doing

• Perform internal due diligence in line with KD procedures and guidelines for sales and support.
• Support sales and business assessments from an early stage.
• Advise and support sales and support teams across KD locations and the KD Screening Team.
• Conduct targeted OSINT analysis to identify ownership structures, hidden affiliations, and risk indicators across business partners.
• Use third-party tools for vessel screening and customer checks, including KYC and OSINT sources.
• Determine licensing requirements and manage license applications.
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce response time and strengthen processes.
