About the position

We are looking for graduates to join Vår Energi within Project Development. As part of our graduate programme, you will work on real business challenges from day one, while developing your technical and professional skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.

With equity stakes in around 50% of all producing assets on the NCS, we are the third largest oil and gas producer and one of the largest exporters of gas to Europe from Norway.

What you will be working with

As a graduate within Project Development, you will contribute to a variety of tasks and projects, such as:

  • Perform surveillance, optimisation, troubleshooting and failure analysis of rotating equipment for operated assets
  • Contribute to ongoing projects and improvement initiatives within the Machinery discipline
  • Conduct technical evaluations, including integrity assessments and design verification, with guidance and mentoring
  • Lead minor studies and technical tasks, with support and mentoring as needed
  • Work in a cross-discipline (technical, operations, maintenance, projects) environment and interface with vendors

Krav

  • You are recently graduated or will graduate in 2027 with a Master's degree within relevant studies.
  • You have 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • You take initiative and show curiosity for learning.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively and across disciplines.
  • You approach challenges with a structured and problem-solving mindset.
