Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present dishes at a Michelin-star level.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the highest standards in taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Follow and contribute to the culinary philosophy of Speilsalen.
  • Assist in the development of new dishes and menus.
  • Handle all ingredients with care and a focus on sustainability.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety (HACCP).

About Britannia Hotel

Britannia Hotel opened in 1870 and has since been a natural meeting point in Trondheim. After a total restoration, the hotel reopened in 2019 as a modern five-star full-service hotel with six restaurants and bars, a spa, and a conference department. Krav

  • Relevant chef certification or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience from a Michelin-starred or high-end restaurant is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of both classic and modern cooking techniques is essential.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and hygiene procedures is required.
  • Must be fluent in Scandinavian or English.
