Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist in Experimental Electrochemical Conversion

SINTEF Industry is looking for a Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist in Experimental Electrochemical Conversion for the research group Functional Materials and Chemistry (FMK) in Oslo. This is a permanent position. We are looking for a hands-on electrochemist who can contribute in the laboratory and increase our portfolio of electrochemical research activities.

Main responsibilities

• Planning, performing, documenting and troubleshooting electrochemical experiments.
• Using strong fundamental electrochemical understanding to interpret results and improve experimental design.
• Combining electrochemical measurements with chemical and material analysis.
• Collaborating with colleagues, industry and research partners in multidisciplinary projects.
• Contributing to automated, data-rich and reproducible workflows where relevant.
• Reporting, publishing and presenting results.
• Developing new research ideas and contributing to project proposals and collaborations.
