Are you our next Design Engineer for Swivel Systems department?
Join NOV and help engineer the technology that keeps offshore energy moving. At NOV APL, we're looking for a Senior Swivel Engineer to join our Swivel Systems team in Arendal. You'll play a key role in designing and developing critical mechanical components for advanced offshore swivel systems while working alongside experienced specialists in a collaborative engineering environment.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Swivel Engineer, you will:
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for offshore swivel systems.
- Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation using Autodesk Inventor.
- Take technical ownership of assigned design packages from concept through execution.
- Develop practical, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Support concept studies, FEED projects, detailed engineering, manufacturing, testing, and project execution.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, project management, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Krav
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum five years of experience in mechanical design within offshore, subsea, heavy machinery, or similar industries.
- Strong experience using Autodesk Inventor.
- Solid understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing methods, GD&T, and engineering documentation.
- Experience working with industry standards such as DNV, API, ASME, or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills in English.
