Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset support: Provide day-to-day mechanical engineering support across our producing assets, focusing on rotating equipment and/or cranes & lifting.
  • Offshore exposure: Gain hands-on experience with critical mechanical equipment through sporadic offshore trips.
  • AI & Data insights: Apply data analysis and AI tools to solve tangible technical problems in mechanical equipment operations.
  • Failure analysis: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on failure investigations and root-cause analyses.
  • Project contribution: Contribute to modification and improvement projects, helping maintain equipment documentation and standards compliance.

Krav

  • Possesses a relevant M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Must be based in Norway and legally authorized to work for the full duration of the program.
  • Strong English communication skills and willingness to learn Norwegian.
  • Willingness and ability to travel offshore sporadically.
  • A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical conduct.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to apply mechanical engineering principles to diagnose and solve complex real-world operational challenges.
