We are looking for a Project Engineering Manager to join our Power & Controls Engineering department in Tranby. The offices are centrally located 10 minutes from Drammen and 30 minutes from Oslo. In this role, you will lead and manage an engineering team, working at the intersection of technical disciplines, project management, and external stakeholders.

What will you be doing?

• Lead and govern all engineering activities in small to medium‑sized projects in accordance with Aker Solutions’ Engineering Management System.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and close the engineering scope in close collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Mobilize, coordinate, and support multidisciplinary engineering teams across systems, controls, and mechanical disciplines.
• Manage engineering risks, key technical decisions, and change control, ensuring alignment and required approvals.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, applicable standards, and relevant regulatory and defense constraints through robust, integrated engineering solutions.
• Act as the technical focal point towards customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Report engineering status, progress, risks, and KPIs to the Project Manager.
• Capture and transfer lessons learned to support continuous improvement of engineering execution and ways of working.
