We are looking for a Lead Engineer System to join our Power & Controls Engineering department in Tranby. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding system-level integrity across defense projects, ensuring that complex technical solutions are coherent, compliant, and fit for purpose in a regulated environment.

What will you be doing?

• Lead and manage all system engineering activities in accordance with Aker Solutions’ engineering policies and governance framework.
• Define, maintain, and safeguard system architecture and overall technical integrity across projects.
• Translate customer, operational, and regulatory requirements into robust, compliant system solutions.
• Lead system level integration, verification, and validation activities across engineering disciplines.
• Ensure system documentation, configuration control, and compliance with applicable standards and defense requirements.
• Secure system performance in line with defined reliability, availability, and safety requirements.
• Act as the technical focal point across engineering disciplines, Project Management, and key stakeholders.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate system level and integration risks throughout the project lifecycle.
