Role Overview
We are looking for a structured and proactive Quality Engineer to strengthen our Quality team at Herøya. In this role, you will work closely with Operations, Laboratory, R&D, customers, and suppliers to ensure robust quality processes and continuous improvement across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support daily quality activities within Production and Laboratory.
- Participate in testing and evaluation of graphite anode materials.
- Handle and follow up internal and external quality deviations.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Participate in internal audits and quality improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and 5S practices.
Krav
- Relevant education at minimum Bachelor’s level within Engineering, Quality, Chemistry, Materials Science, or similar fields.
- Experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949.
- Experience with internal audits.
- Experience from battery, process, chemical, or automotive industry is considered beneficial.
- Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English, verbally and in writing.
