Lead Offshore Technician
Motive Offshore Group specialises in the design, manufacture, rental, and inspection of marine and lifting equipment and are committed to delivering sustainable, innovative and multisector solutions.
The Lead Offshore Technician will be responsible for commission and operation of equipment in a competent and professional manner, as well as being responsible for performing testing/maintenance/inspection scopes while always communicating effectively with the client and Operations Department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and mentoring to other Offshore Technicians.
- Conduct subsea testing operations, including setup, monitoring, and execution of subsea equipment testing activities.
- Prepare, install, operate, and demobilise equipment on-site.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant HSEQ guidelines.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and undertake required repairs or maintenance on site.
Krav
- Must hold valid offshore certification including Norwegian applicable medical, Norwegian Escape Chute, and EBS course.
- Must be eligible for work in Norway with an EU passport or a Norwegian residency permit.
- Must be a qualified electrician.
- Must have mechanical and hydraulic experience with good knowledge of hydraulic components.
- Must have relevant experience operating machinery in the offshore industry.
