About the role:
We’re seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee the on-site delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for Nscale’s hyperscale data centre projects. You will be responsible for managing the technical and construction execution of MEP packages, ensuring all systems are designed, installed, commissioned, and handed over in accordance with Nscale’s quality, safety, and performance standards.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Lead and coordinate all on-site MEP construction activities across multiple contractors, ensuring delivery to specification, budget, schedule, and Nscale’s technical standards.
- Manage all interfaces between mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and building systems to guarantee full integration and operational readiness.
- Provide technical oversight through detailed review of designs, drawings, and submittals, conducting routine inspections to ensure safety, quality, and performance.
- Manage day-to-day communication with MEP contractors, consultants, and suppliers, chair coordination meetings to track progress, and address technical and safety issues.
- Monitor MEP progress against the master program, reporting cost, quality, risk, and performance metrics to project leadership.
- Promote continuous improvement by embedding best practices in safety, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
Krav
- You must have 6+ years of experience in MEP project delivery, specifically within large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects.
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or an equivalent technical discipline) is required.
- You must have a proven track record in delivering large MEP scopes from installation through commissioning and handover.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, cooling infrastructure, HVAC, controls, and fire protection systems is essential.
- You must be an excellent communicator capable of influencing and coordinating across various disciplines and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required, and you must be willing to be site-based in Norway.
