Lead Offshore Technician Opportunity in Norway

About the role:
The Lead Offshore Technician will be responsible for commission and operation of equipment in a competent and professional manner, as well as being responsible for performing testing/maintenance/inspection scopes while always communicating effectively with the client and Operations Department. Sometimes these tasks will be handled alone, and sometimes the lead technician will be responsible for coordinating teams of technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and mentoring to other Offshore Technicians.
- Conduct subsea testing operations, including setup, monitoring, and execution of subsea equipment testing activities.
- Prepare, install, operate, and demobilise equipment on-site.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and undertake required repairs or maintenance.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including service/maintenance records and project paperwork.
Krav
- Must hold valid offshore certifications including Norwegian applicable medical, Norwegian Escape Chute, and EBS course.
- Must be a qualified electrician.
- Must be eligible for work in Norway, holding either an EU passport or a Norwegian residency permit.
- Must have experience within Fibre Optics.
- Must possess mechanical and hydraulic experience with good knowledge of hydraulic components.
- Relevant experience operating machinery in the offshore industry is required.
