NordicEPOD is looking for a Plant HSE Responsible to join their team in Sande i Vestfold. The role involves supporting the maintenance of the HSE management system, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, and maintaining a visible presence on the production floor to reinforce safe behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support maintenance of the HSE management system in alignment with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and legal requirements.
- Maintain a visible presence in the workface, engaging with supervisors, operatives, and contractors.
- Carry out routine inspections, audits, safety observations, and workplace monitoring.
- Provide HSE support for modular assembly, lifting operations, hot work, electrical installation, and work at height.
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, including waste management and reporting.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure formal documentation for operational and project-specific tasks.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis (5Why, Fish bone), and ensure lessons learned are communicated.
- Facilitate mandatory Health and Safety training and maintain records.
- Participate in internal and external audits and support emergency drills.
Krav
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience from a similar HSE position.
- Relevant HSE qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent diploma.
- Mandatory knowledge of applicable Norwegian Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
- Good oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or engineering environment.
