Project Engineer

How you make an impact
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering technical solutions that support Nexans' complex cable projects from engineering design through manufacturing, testing, installation, and final project delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing engineering activities within assigned projects, ensuring technical deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Preparing technical documentation, engineering calculations, procedures, and project deliverables according to contract requirements and internal standards.
- Supporting product design activities, manufacturing follow-up, testing activities, and installation support throughout project execution.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, operational units, manufacturing plants, and project stakeholders globally.
- Supporting tender activities through technical input, solution evaluation, risk assessments, and technical quality review.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, standardization work, lessons learned activities, and technical development across engineering teams.
Krav
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is preferred within engineering, technical project work, industrial manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with mechanical or electrical design, technical documentation, product development, or engineering calculations.
- Experience working in project-driven organizations with multidisciplinary teams and multiple technical interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly and find practical solutions when facing technical challenges.
- Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
