Electrical Technician / Tavlebygger
IKM HVAC EX Equipment AS is looking for an Electrical Technician to join their team in Randaberg.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, mount, and wire industrial control components including PLCs, VFDs, relays, transformers, circuit breakers, and motor controls.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and as-built documentation to ensure accurate assembly.
- Execute proper cable routing, binding, labeling, and organization within panels.
- Conduct functional tests, continuity checks, and inspection of components.
- Ensure installation and testing comply with ATEX/IECEx standards and any other applicable safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of workplace safety, adhering to PPE, lockout/tagout, and ESD protocols.
Krav
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Vocational training or technical certification in electrical & electronics or industrial controls is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in electrical panel assembly and industrial wiring is essential.
- Ability to read and implement complex technical schematics is required.
- Knowledge of Ex i (Intrinsic safety) circuit installation methods is necessary.
- Knowledge of ATEX/IECEx standards is required.
