Network Operation Center Manager, Glomfjord

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and resilient Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager to lead our critical infrastructure monitoring and incident response teams at our data center in Glomfjord. Taking advantage of the region's green energy and cool climate, our facility requires top-tier operational oversight. As the NOC Manager, you will be the guardian of our network's uptime, stability, and security.

What You'll Be Doing:

• People Leadership & Team Management: Lead, develop, and manage a 24/7/365 Network Operations Centre team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the NOC, ensuring continuous monitoring of network infrastructure, servers, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Incident & Major Incident Management: Act as the primary operational escalation point for critical incidents and lead major incident response activities.
• Building Management System (BMS) Oversight: Ensure effective monitoring of electrical distribution, UPS systems, generators, HVAC, and fire detection systems.
• SLA, KPI & Performance Management: Monitor and report on key operational performance indicators including uptime, incident response times, and customer SLAs.
• Process & Operational Governance: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and incident response workflows.
• Continuous Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and enhance overall operational efficiency.
