National Programme Development Officer and Programme Development Associate
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Norway is expanding its newly established Programme Development Unit (PDU) and is currently recruiting for two positions: National Programme Development Officer (NO-A) and Programme Development Associate (G5).
1. National Programme Development Officer (NO-A)
The incumbent will contribute to the implementation of IOM Norway’s partnership, programme development, and external engagement strategy. Responsibilities include identifying collaboration opportunities, developing projects, monitoring migration-related policy developments, and supporting stakeholder engagement.
2. Programme Development Associate (G5)
The incumbent will provide specialized support to the Programme Development Unit (PDU) in areas of research, policy and stakeholder monitoring, AI-enabled information gathering, communications, visibility, media monitoring, and knowledge management.
IOM is a Related Organization of the United Nations, dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all.
Krav
- Candidates must have relevant professional experience in programme development, research, or stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical skills are required for monitoring policy developments and preparing briefing materials.
- Excellent communication skills in English or Norwegian are essential for engaging with national and international stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate across different organizational units is required.
- Proficiency in research, knowledge management, and the use of modern information gathering tools is expected.
