Senior Platform Engineer
Flowcase provides a SaaS product for winning public tenders, bids, and proposals. Everything Flowcase runs on AWS and Kubernetes, and the Platform team owns the infrastructure, CI/CD, authentication, security, and internal DevOps tooling.
You would be the second person on the Platform team, reporting to the Platform Lead. You will have significant latitude in solving problems and shaping the platform. We are looking for someone who can navigate the fast-moving AI landscape and make pragmatic decisions about tooling and architecture.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and extend the AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Own and improve authentication and security posture, including SOC 2 compliance.
- Empower developers by providing production-readiness tools and guidance.
- Act as a key stakeholder in architectural decisions for new features.
- Develop internal tools and self-service platforms to improve developer productivity.
- Choose the right tools, balancing build vs. buy decisions.
Krav
- You have strong experience with Kubernetes and a major cloud platform, ideally AWS.
- You possess knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation and automation frameworks.
- You have experience building and maintaining observability stacks to help teams understand their services.
- You have a solid grasp of authentication, authorization, and security fundamentals in a cloud-native environment.
- You are comfortable with at least one general-purpose programming language for building tooling and services.
- You must be based in Norway and legally eligible to work there.
