Solution Lead - Finance & Project GBS

This role sits within Solutions, part of Odfjell Technology's Global Business Services (GBS). GBS Solutions works across processes, systems and data to keep all three Odfjell companies (Odfjell Drilling, Odfjell Technology, and Odfjell Oceanwind) running well and to support their continued growth and development.

IFS is the core system at the Odfjell companies, where it supports finance, projects, HR, supply chain, rental, maintenance, and more. As Solution Lead Finance & Project, you will take ownership of the finance solution area, working at the intersection of finance and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the IFS Finance & Project solutions, including configuration, documentation and integrations.
• Leading upgrades, improvements and changes within the finance and project solution areas.
• Ensuring effective support and troubleshooting in cooperation with suppliers and external partners.
• Working with the finance disciplines to understand current and future needs, and turning these into solutions.
• Ensuring finance data is well structured and supports reliable reporting.
• Planning, prioritising and following up the work of System Administrators in our Manila office.
• Sharing knowledge and enabling super-users across companies.
• Maintaining user access controls and supporting audit and compliance requirements.
• Contributing to the companies' direction on ERP, including a future move towards IFS Cloud.
