ABB Energy Industries are enabling safe, smart, and sustainable projects and operations for businesses across the oil, gas, chemicals, life sciences, power generation, and water sectors. We are now strengthening our sales team in Bid Management & Sales Operation department with a Bid Manager in the Energy Sector covering Offshore, FPSO, Offshore Wind, Offshore Electrification, and Subsea Electrification.

Your responsibilities

• Preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit, and Sales organization directives.
• Be the single interface towards customers and ensure timely and proactive communication.
• Responsible for the bid during the whole sales phase, from lead until signing the contract.
• Set up and collaborate with ABB group functions, such as Legal, Finance, Taxes, and Insurance.
• Use experience and understanding to add to the Bid plans and decision-making as the tendering process evolves.
• Coordinate with the procurement team and maintain support from internal and third-party suppliers.
• Analyze project proposals and cost plans and prepare for risk review.
• Defines cost for the proposed solution and communicates to the Sales organization.
