Do you want to help open and lead the operations at a brand-new Activate Games location? We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager who can build the team, culture and daily operations at Activate Bærum from the start.
Activate Games is opening a new location in Bærum, and we are looking for a clear, practical and energetic Operations Manager to help build the team and daily operations from the start. This is a key role in the opening of a new location. You will be responsible for daily operations, team follow-up, guest experience, quality and operational flow on the floor.
About the role
As Operations Manager at Activate Bærum, you will make sure the daily operation works in practice. You will lead team leads and game hosts, secure a strong guest experience and help ensure that the location opens with high standards from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Lead daily operations and make sure the location runs smoothly on the floor.
- Build, train and follow up team leads and game hosts.
- Maintain high standards for guest experience, safety, cleanliness and service.
- Own scheduling, staffing, opening, closing and daily routines.
- Follow up birthdays, groups, B2B bookings and events.
- Report on operations, staffing, KPIs, technical issues and improvement actions.
Krav
- You must have leadership experience from service, hospitality, retail, restaurants, fitness, or similar operational environments.
- You must be comfortable leading people on the floor in a high-tempo setting.
- You must be structured, reliable, and able to maintain control in busy situations.
- You must be clear on standards and expectations while maintaining strong interpersonal skills.
- You must be able to work evenings and weekends when needed.
- You must be fluent in English or Norwegian.
