As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for an EIT Field Engineer for an exciting project at Kollsnes, Øygarden.

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.

What will you be doing?

  • Assisting production with resolving technical issues during construction and installation
  • Supporting production with interpretation of drawings and work basis
  • Preparing work basis and technical documentation in collaboration with shop engineering
  • Ensuring that installation location and execution are construction‑ and HSSE‑friendly
  • Maintaining close communication with work leader (FIL), method, shop engineering, PRE and other stakeholders
  • Coordinating closely with production and supporting efficient execution
  • Interfacing across all disciplines (EIT, piping, structure, civil, HVAC), as well as suppliers, subcontractors and planning
  • Supporting IT/IS systems related to engineering registers and MIPS
  • Contributing to strong HSSE performance throughout all activities

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years of E&I experience, or relevant experience to compensate.
  • Experience from field engineering or site work.
  • Good understanding of as-built drawings and mechanical interface drawings.
  • Good general IT skills and experience with digital tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across disciplines.
  • Ability to work locally in Øygarden on a regular work schedule.
