Commissioning Engineer – Electro, Instrument, Telecom, SAS

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for Commissioning Engineer – Electro, Instrument, Telecom, SAS for an exciting project at Sandsli. This role is not rotational, but may include some international travel.

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.

What will you be doing?

• Developing, updating, and maintaining commissioning procedures and plans
• Participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
• Carrying out commissioning activities on site
• Reviewing supplier documentation and supporting commissioning readiness
• Initiating and following up preservation routines
• Preparing and describing loop tests
• Linking tag numbers, commissioning packages, and work orders in PIMS
• Coordinating punch lists and driving punch closure together with construction, vendors, and contractors
• Developing and maintaining system boundary documentation
• Coordinating interfaces across disciplines and stakeholders
• Resolving MC issues that impact commissioning readiness during engineering and construction
• Preparing handover and completion certificates
