Senior Product Designer

Vipps MobilePay is part of everyday life in the Nordics, with more than 12 million users across the region. Our products are not tucked away in a quiet corner of someone’s workday. They show up in everyday, real-life moments: splitting a restaurant bill, shopping online, buying a bus ticket, or showing someone you trust that "money's on the way."

When something is used this widely, there is no room for mediocre experiences. People notice. We need to make payments feel simple, safe, fast, and reliable, every single time.

Now, we are looking for an independent and pragmatic Senior Product Designer to join our user-facing product teams.

What will I be doing?

You will take design ownership of product experiences used by millions. You won't just decide how screens look; you will help identify the right problems to solve across our user-facing products.

• Mapping complex journeys: Turn ambiguous product opportunities into clear, simple flows, prototypes and experiments.
• Collaborating from day one: Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers and Data Analysts.
• Understanding users and outcomes: Use research, data and customer insight to understand the problem and define success.
• Using new tools to learn faster: Use AI, automation or code-assisted prototyping to explore ideas and test assumptions.
• Designing at scale: Use systems thinking and strong product judgement to balance speed, trust and usability.

Who will I be working with?

You will join a vibrant, highly talented Nordic design community, embedded in an autonomous product squad alongside Software Engineers, Product Managers, and other designers.
