Structural Engineer

Accountability & End Result
Accountable for maintaining the structural integrity of defined structure types and load conditions, and/or accountable for activities supporting this responsibility. The activities shall secure that the structural integrity is maintained and documented in a cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Technical Controlling Documents for the engineering discipline.
- Develop and implement strategies, programs, and detailed plans to monitor and survey changes to structural condition, weight, layout, and geometry.
- Assess changes and mitigate as required, including updating as-is assurance analysis portfolios (fatigue, RBI, storm, earthquake, fire, blast, etc.).
- Maintain and manage relevant information in company databases (e.g., SAP, SIMS, SharePoint).
- Ensure as-is integrity monitoring, reporting, and communication.
- Development and maintenance of company procedures and technical requirements (TCDs).
- Responsible for budget input for maintenance and modifications for structural activities.
- Liaise with the industry to improve understanding and know-how within the structural discipline.
- Act as a project champion in modification projects and provide support for drilling, decommissioning, and cessation activities.
Krav
- Hold a Technical University degree (BSc or higher).
- Possess 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of processes required to meet HSE objectives.
- Be fully conversant with the Norwegian regulatory environment.
- Show strong personal leadership and a drive toward teamwork.
