As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a Commissioning Engineer -- Electro, Instrument, Telecom, SAS for an exciting project at Sandsli. This role is not rotational, but may include some international travel.
What will you be doing?
- Developing, updating, and maintaining commissioning procedures and plans.
- Participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Carrying out commissioning activities on site.
- Reviewing supplier documentation and supporting commissioning readiness.
- Initiating and following up preservation routines.
- Preparing and describing loop tests.
- Linking tag numbers, commissioning packages, and work orders in PIMS.
- Coordinating punch lists and driving punch closure together with construction, vendors, and contractors.
- Developing and maintaining system boundary documentation.
- Coordinating interfaces across disciplines and stakeholders.
- Resolving MC issues that impact commissioning readiness during engineering and construction.
- Preparing handover and completion certificates.
Krav
- Solid experience with commissioning work from oil and gas, energy, or industrial projects.
- Broad and long‑term experience within commissioning and completion activities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your scope.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- You communicate fluently in Norwegian and English.
- Relevant education such as a certificate of apprenticeship, bachelor’s, or master’s degree.
