On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
Job Description:
- Act as the Technical Functional Authority (TFA) for Structural Integrity within the asset.
- Act as the PS Responsible Person for PS-02.
- Be responsible for the risk-based management of structural integrity, including updating RBA/RBI plans (inspection and monitoring) through evaluation of inspection results and changes affecting technical integrity.
- Contribute to anomaly management for structures, including evaluation of technical condition and barrier status, as well as risk assessment of identified findings.
- Approve scopes of work, including personnel qualifications, for planned inspection activities.
- Assist in the risk assessment of all reported FM requirements related to structures.
- Initiate and ensure approval of corrective work orders, with defined needs based on evaluation of inspection results and findings.
- Monitor relevant KPIs within the area of responsibility.
- Be responsible for conducting root cause analyses (e.g., damage investigations) on relevant equipment, and identify/share lessons learned through professional networks.
- Ensure that relevant subsea activities and activities related to the class scope are included in the asset activity plan.
- Provide input to the integrity management budget.
- Provide discipline support within structural integrity to the wider organization and seek specialist input from Metocean and geotechnical engineers when required.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the management system (work processes and documentation) and tools (e.g., AIM Tool).

Krav
- You must have extensive experience as a Technical Functional Authority (TFA) for structural integrity.
- You should be capable of managing risk-based structural integrity, including RBA/RBI plans.
- You must have experience with anomaly management and risk assessment of technical findings.
- You should be proficient in conducting root cause analyses and damage investigations.
- You must be fluent in English and Norwegian.
