Project Planning Engineer

We are looking for a Project Planning Engineer to join our team in Karmøy.

Job Description:

• Responsible for project overall planning, including developing, maintaining, and communicating project schedules.
• Monitor, analyse, and report schedule progress, identifying deviations, trends, and recovery actions.
• Coordinate, integrate, and optimize contractors' schedules within the overall project schedule.
• Review, audit, and quality assure contractors' planning documentation (schedules, milestones, progress curves, resource histograms).
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule assessments, and schedule risk analysis.
• Provide planning input to the project team, such as lookahead schedules and monthly report data.
• Responsible for planning and coordination of construction and commissioning activities at the site.
• Establish systems and methods for planning and follow-up of construction and commissioning activities.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed construction and commissioning schedules.
• Schedule and prioritize activities between different contractors based on work maturity, risks, interfaces, and dependencies.
• Monitor and report site progress and productivity, including analysis of deviations from the plan.
• Facilitate and lead planning and coordination meetings at the site.
• Monitor and follow up contractor manpower plans and resource forecasts.
• Support coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
