Technical Safety/Senior Engineer
We are looking for a Technical Safety/Senior Engineer for a contract position in Bergen.
Main tasks:
- Perform detailed design and modification tasks on safety systems in projects.
- Work with Passive Fire Protection (PFP) and Active Fire Protection (AFP).
- Manage Area Classification and Ignition Source Control.
- Handle Fire and Gas Detection systems.
- Oversee Escape, Evacuation and Rescue (EER) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments.
- Define fluid groups (PED) and perform Working Environment and Environmental Care Engineering.
- Conduct interdisciplinary coordination (IDC) and verifications.
- Identify and facilitate risk and verification activities such as HAZID, WEHRA, and design reviews.
- Follow up with clients, vendors, and 3rd parties.
Krav
- Master or Bachelor degree in technical safety or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience within offshore design and modification work in Norway.
- Strong knowledge of Ptil requirements, ISO, and NORSOK standards.
- Ability to work independently on projects while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
