Senior Production / Process Engineer - Stavanger Manufacturing

About the role
We are looking for a curious and driven Senior Production / Process Engineer who enjoys working hands-on with production challenges while also contributing to longer-term improvements. In this role, you will combine analytical problem-solving with a broader perspective on how processes, systems, and teams work together. You will play an important role in strengthening stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement in our production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and improve production processes to ensure stable and efficient operations.
- Perform systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive initiatives within your area.
- Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate across engineering, quality, and production to solve challenges and align solutions.
- Support and contribute to project work, taking increasing responsibility over time.
- Balance day-to-day operational needs with longer-term improvements.
Krav
- You hold an engineering degree in production, mechanical, materials, or a similar field.
- You have 5-10 years of experience from a manufacturing or production environment.
- You possess experience with structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- You have a proven track record in process optimization and stabilization.
- You demonstrate a basic understanding of automation, data, or production systems.
- You are a collaborative team player capable of building strong relationships across functions.
