Service Technician – NOV Downhole (Stavanger)
NOV Downhole is seeking a skilled and service-oriented Service Technician to join our dynamic team at the Stavanger service center. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of downhole drilling tools, supporting operations that are critical to the offshore oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform repair and maintenance on downhole drilling equipment
- General workshop duties: cleaning, prepping tools for NDT inspection, dispatch preparation
- Operate workshop service and lifting equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow and promote QHSE standards
- Participate in regular equipment checks and preventive maintenance routines

Krav
- You hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You have a mechanical background, such as experience as a car mechanic.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- You possess basic computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
