Technical Safety/Senior Engineer
NES Fircroft is looking for a Technical Safety/Senior Engineer for a contract position in Bergen.
Main tasks:
- Perform detailed design and modification tasks on safety systems in projects.
- Work with Passive Fire Protection (PFP), Active Fire Protection (AFP), and Area Classification/Ignition Source Control.
- Manage Fire and Gas Detection, Escape, Evacuation and Rescue (EER), and Safety Integrity Level (SIL).
- Handle definition of fluid groups (PED), Working Environment Engineering, and Environmental Care Engineering.
- Perform interdisciplinary coordination (IDC) and verifications.
- Identify and facilitate required risk and verification activities such as HAZID, WEHRA, and design reviews.
- Follow-up of client, vendors, and 3rd Parties.
- Support and follow-up of engineers.
Krav
- Master or Bachelor degree in technical safety or other related disciplines.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience within offshore design and modification work in Norway.
- Experience working independently on V&M projects while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Ptil requirements, ISO- and NORSOK standards.
- Excellent Norwegian and English writing and speaking skills.
