Ready to shape the future of space and defense technology? Eidel is an engineering company specializing in electronics, software, and system design for space and defense. Our core expertise includes remote sensing, remote control, and encryption. With a rapidly growing portfolio of projects, Eidel is now looking for a Project Manager to join our team and help turn ambitious technology into successful customer deliveries.
About the role
As a Project Manager at Eidel, you will lead complex, high-tech development projects within the space and defense sectors. You will take responsibility for assigned projects from contract handover through development, delivery, and final customer acceptance. This means working closely with engineers, customers, partners, and management to ensure that projects meet their contractual, technical, financial, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for assigned projects from contract handover through development, delivery, and customer acceptance.
- Lead and support multidisciplinary project teams.
- Develop, maintain, and follow up project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Ensure that projects are executed in accordance with contractual requirements and Eidel's internal processes.
- Manage project scope and initiate and prepare change requests when required.
- Identify, assess, and follow up project risks and opportunities in accordance with Eidel's quality system.
- Maintain close communication with customers and ensure clear and professional project follow-up.
- Coordinate and collaborate with external partners and suppliers.
- Monitor project budget, progress, and key milestones, and report status to management.
- Prepare relevant internal and external project documentation and status reports.
Security Clearance
Applicants must hold Norwegian citizenship and be eligible for Norwegian security clearance (SECRET / NATO SECRET).
Krav
- You must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical discipline or have other relevant education and experience.
- You must have at least three years of experience in project management, preferably from a technical, engineering, or product development environment.
- You must be proficient in both Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
- You must hold Norwegian citizenship and be eligible for Norwegian security clearance (SECRET / NATO SECRET).
- You should have a good understanding of project management methods and principles.
