IT Cloud Platform Engineer

Technology and data is a key driver to AquaGen’s development across production, research and administration. To strengthen our internal expertise, we are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer. In this newly established role, you will develop and manage infrastructure and analytics solutions in AWS, Azure and our Fabric data platform.

Acting as a technical link between internal expert teams and external technology partners, you will ensure that Aquagen’s platforms, dataflows and integrations support research, production, reporting and datasharing in a secure and efficient way.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage cloud, analytic and platform infrastructure across AWS, Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and maintain integrations and technical interfaces between systems, data sources, cloud platforms and production-related solutions.
• Technical responsibility for our R&D department compute and analytics platform on AWS.
• Drive standardization, automation and continuous improvement through shell scripting (e.g. Bash) and Infrastructure as Code.
• Contribute to secure, stable and auditable operations through configuration management, technical documentation, change control and risk-mitigation measures.
• Work closely with R&D, production, specialist functions and external technology partners to develop effective cloud, data and analytics solutions.
