Accounting Analyst
Helly Hansen is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Analyst for the Nordic market to join our Finance department in Oslo. You will manage Account Receivables, Retail accounting, and GL Ledger activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable: Manage end-to-end processes including invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliation.
- Retail Accounting: Reconcile Point of Sale (POS) systems, manage bank deposit reconciliations, and monitor inventory-related entries.
- General Ledger Accounting: Prepare and post journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Compliance & Improvement: Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies, support audit processes, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Krav
- You must have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant hands-on accounting experience, preferably in an international setting.
- You should possess solid knowledge of accounting principles and credit control.
- Experience with ERP systems (such as Infor M3 or SAP) and Excel is required.
- You must be fluent in both a Scandinavian language and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with US Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance is highly preferred.
