Logistics Coordinator

This position is based on-site at Vigra Spoolbase, Ålesund. The Warehouse Coordinator supports the Logistics Manager in developing efficient and safe logistics operations. Key focus areas include maintaining HSEQ‑compliant procedures, ensuring effective knowledge sharing, and driving continuous improvement.

The Tasks You Will Solve

• Primary responsibility for Vigra Warehouse and goods reception.
• Receive, register, store and ship goods; deliver consumables to production and operations.
• Conduct stock and inventory counts according to Subsea7 procedures.
• Work closely with Senior Logistics Coordinator and base management.
• Promote and follow Subsea7 HSSEQ, Business Ethics and safety standards.
• Communicate safety expectations to subcontractors, visitors and internal personnel.
• Support quay operations and peak‑period activities when required.
• Register all incoming/outgoing goods and notify recipients; use Timpex Connect for bookings.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with production and supervisors.
• Ensure all stock withdrawals are correctly cost‑allocated.
• Maintain SAP inventory levels and process purchases according to Subsea7 Norway procurement routines.
• Cooperate with SCM/purchasing for correct codes and ordering.
• Perform basic inspections and maintenance of warehouse equipment and outdoor areas.
• Operate and check forklift daily; report service needs.
• Manage cardboard compactor and ensure correct disposal.
• Support handling at external storage areas (e.g., gym warehouse, quay warehouse).
• Provide assistance to other departments when capacity allows.
