PhD Candidate in Political Science/Public Policy and Administration
As a PhD Candidate at the Department of Sociology and Political Science, you will work to achieve your doctorate while gaining valuable experience that qualifies you for a further career in higher education and research. This position is part of the research group Public Policy and Administration and focuses on the project "Cybersecurity Governance in Critical Public Infrastructures."
Duties of the position
- Complete the doctoral education until obtaining a doctorate.
- Carry out research of high academic quality and develop your own approach to the project.
- Academic publications and popular science dissemination.
- Be an active participant in the research group Public Policy and Administration.
- Participate in international activities such as conferences, workshops, and research stays.
- Teaching in relevant study programs at the Department.
Requirements
- You must have a master's degree in Political Science, Social Science, or relevant interdisciplinary digitalisation-oriented programmes.
- You must have an average grade from your Master's degree study equal to B or better on the NTNU grading scale.
- You must meet the requirements for admission to the faculty's Doctoral Programme in Social Science.
- You must submit a high-quality project proposal that contributes to the comparative agenda of the research project.
- You must have experience with qualitative research as the main methodological approach.
- You must have good written and oral skills in English.
