Neuver Maritime is strengthening its governance and compliance capabilities and is now seeking a structured, confident, business-oriented and experienced Export Control Specialist.
In this role, you will be a key advisor across the organization, ensuring compliance with export control and sanctions regulations in a global maritime environment. You’ll work closely with compliance, project, sales, spares and procurement teams on classification, screening, licensing, and risk assessments.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with export control and sanctions regulations
- Conduct partner screening and risk assessments
- Support projects with expert guidance and practical solutions
- Improve and maintain internal processes and training
- Use third-party tools to screen vessels and customers (e.g. Seasearcher, D&B, Export control power app.)

Requirements
- You have 3–5 years of experience in export control or trade compliance, preferably within the maritime industry.
- You possess strong knowledge of EU, US, and national export control regulations, with ITAR/EAR experience being a plus.
- You have hands-on experience with product classification and licensing processes.
- You are proficient in English and demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.
- You have a commercial mindset and are capable of acting as a confident advisor across the organization.
