NACOS Valmarine is our Norwegian branch, working with interesting national and international customers. We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer Platform Architect (m/f/d) to play a leading role in defining and developing the next generation of NACOS Marine's automation platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture for NACOS Marine's next-generation automation platform, ensuring scalability, modularity, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
• Design and implement advanced automation platform solutions for maritime applications, balancing performance, reliability, and operational requirements.
• Lead platform architecture decisions, including technology selection, architectural trade-offs, and system design principles.
• Evaluate, validate, and integrate new technologies, tools, and development methodologies to continuously improve platform capabilities.
• Provide architectural leadership and technical guidance to cross-functional development teams across multiple locations.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and design workshops to ensure alignment across engineering teams.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Program Management to ensure architectural decisions support business objectives, delivery milestones, and product strategy.
• Develop and maintain technical architecture documentation, ensuring traceability from requirements through implementation.
• Mentor software engineers and architects, promoting best practices, code quality, and technical excellence.
• Champion modern software engineering practices, including AI-assisted development, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
