Your Responsibilities:

As a Chef with us, you will be a central part of the kitchen team and contribute to daily operations. Your main tasks will include:

  • Culinary Excellence & Production: Prepare dishes with precision and passion, ensuring consistently high quality, in accordance with established procedures, routines, and profitability goals.
  • Mise en Place Expert: Execute daily mise en place for à la carte, lunch, banquet dinners or other meals, ensuring seamless service and good communication with the team.
  • Kitchen Operations & Teamwork: Contribute to the daily operation of the kitchen, including food preparation, plating, and adherence to food safety (IK-Mat).
  • Inventory Management & Cost Control: Contribute to good inventory management and cost control, including receiving goods, maintaining optimal stock levels, and actively working to minimize food waste and spoilage.
  • Hygiene, Health & Safety: Responsible for maintaining a good level of hygiene, health, and safety, and operating in accordance with current routines and regulations.

Requirements

  • You have documented experience from a similar role as a chef.
  • A chef certificate or diploma is desirable, but relevant experience can compensate.
  • You must be able to communicate in Scandinavian or have a good understanding of Norwegian.
  • You are flexible, reliable, and possess a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • You are comfortable multi-tasking and making independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
